I came to this meditation after experiencing Deepak Chopra’s powerful global meditation for world peace via Unify.org, earlier this month.
Three intentions I wish to fulfill after this 21-day Meditation Experience is over: find peace within, every day, even in the face of adversity and upheaval; find happiness within by focusing on a positive aspect of my life, daily; spread peace and happiness around me by focusing on the here and now, and all the good that every single moment contains.
Simply focusing on my Third Eye, on the Brow Chakra, and visualizing all the light and positive energy it contains, helps keep my mind in the here and now.
My feelings of happiness come from focusing on the single moment, as opposed to letting a good moment be spoiled by pointless comparisons, useless desires, and damaging imaginings of a better “what if?” situation. Each blissful moment is enough on its own.
I enjoyed the positive affirmations and “pep talk” aspects of this meditation, provided by Deepak Chopra: they created a good transitional emotional space in which to move from daily routine to a peaceful mental state conducive to deeper meditation.
